Does Medicare cover Spiriva?

Answered by 5 licensed agents

Yes, Spiriva is widely covered by most Medicare drug plans, including Medicare Advantage plans, but it may be subject to a plan's annual deductible. A much lower-cost generic, tiotropium, is also covered by Medicare Part D plans. Some drug discount cards, such as GoodRx, offer tiotropium at very favorable prices.

Spiriva is covered by Medicare. It will be covered under your Part D benefit. You will need to make sure that it is on your plan's formulary.
