No, there is not, or at least one exists in the 30 States I am licensed in. That is why Medicare Supplements members have a great price ex 200.00 premium plus a 65.00 dollar prescription program. Each will increase by 8-10% increase based on the company's cost.

No. All private companies are going to be affected by risk and inflation.

But you want to try a find a company that issues an INDIVIDUAL policy, not a Group policy. Why should have to be subject to the spread pricing of the costs of the group, if you are a healthy person and the rest of the group is a higher risk than you? Also, if you can find an ISSUE AGE policy provider, that will make a difference as well.

Beyond that, pricing will react to the risks and the inflation that the carrier is subject to.

There is no Medigap plan, including BCBS and all Medigap plans will raise your premium a minimum of once per year , and some of them like Mutual of Omaha even twice per year in certain states.

To my knowledge, Medigap companies cannot guarantee their premiums will not increase. They can guaranteed that they will be renewable i.e. not dropped due to health issues, there isn't a single policy provider who can or would claim no future increases in premium. Nobody knows how the landscape of Medicare is going to change from year to year.

Hey, folks. Medicare agents heard the Tony Capraro State Farm Cafaro agency, Kelly Street in Manchester. You have questions? We have the answers. Is there a Medigap plan company with a non-increasing premium? Good question. I've been doing it for the last two decades, helping all of our clients with Medicare planning, whether it's a Medigap, Medicare supplement policy, or a Medicare Advantage plan. I have not heard or seen of a Medigap plan company with a non-increasing premium each and every year. The premiums increase a little bit. You can get on Medicare.gov and check out all the companies that offer Medigap plans. Medicare supplement and you'll see that state from the company. I represent is always in the top three as far as competitive rates without major increases. Every year I work with someone like myself who can offer you both Medicare and Medicare supplement or Medicare Advantage and has no leanings toward one or the other. It's based on your goals and objectives and what works for you and your family. Let me give you the great advice and information so that you can make a great decision with Medicare. Don't leave it to chance. Don't put it off. It's a very important decision and I can help you with that. Or any of the talented folks on Medicare. Agents hub can do the same. Thank you.

I the 16+ years I have been an independent agent, I have never heard of or come across a Medigap that has a non-increasing premium. I doubt this is the case in your area because over time it would be cost prohibited for the company to continue such a plan. Rising medical costs and an aging population using the coverage is what dictates the increases.

In my experience I have never seen a company that does not have a true Medigap plan that does not have premium increases at least every couple of years. The reason you use me is to be the expert that knows which companies have the least amount and frequency of increases.

No, even Issue Age & Community Age rated Medicare Supplement insurance policies are not guaranteed to increase in premiums. Please use a Broker for assistance. Plan G & Plan N are good choices. Although it depends where you live. Thank you.

As far as I know, there's not a Medigap company that does not increase their premium. The reason they do it is one of the things you get a year older into, because they change the deductibles and Medicare. Each year, the companies have the ability to raise the premiums based on just the fact that they change their deductibles and Medicare. I hope that answers your question.

The Blue Cross Blue Shield policy you're talking about with an increase in premium is probably Medicare Advantage, which is different than a Medigap policy. Have a great day!

All Medicare supplemental plans undergo annual premium increases as individuals age. Premiums are determined by factors such as gender, age, out-of-pocket expenses, and state of residence.

I'm sorry to say there are no Medigap Plans that don't have increasing premiums. They all have rate increases based on age bands, and rate increases based on claims for the entire group on that plan.

There isn’t a widely-available Blue Cross Blue Shield Medigap plan that guarantees non-increasing premiums forever. Premiums vary by state, age, gender, rating class and can go up over time.

Yes — and it comes down to how the plan is rated.

There are three ways Medigap insurance companies price their premiums. Understanding the difference is one of the most important things a Medicare beneficiary can know.

Issue-Age Rated:

Your premium is based on your age at the time you first bought the policy. It will not increase as you get older, but it can still go up due to inflation.

Some Blue Cross Blue Shield plans use community rating — meaning your premium does not increase simply because you age. However, this varies significantly by state and by BCBS affiliate since BCBS is not one single national company — it is a network of independent regional companies.

In Nevada specifically, you would want to verify which BCBS affiliate operates in your area and whether it offers community-rated Medigap plans.

Blue Cross and other insurance companies have increases.

No Medigap plan company, including Blue Cross Blue Shield, offers a premium that never increases. Premiums typically rise over time due to factors like risk and inflation. Blue Cross Blue Shield does offer reputable Medigap plans, but their premiums generally increase annually based on age and other factors. The cost varies widely, averaging around $189 per month at age 65, but can range from about $60 to over $350 depending on plan type and location.

The premium cost for Medigap Plan's is based on how the state manages premiums. Many states offer a consistent price regardless of age. Other companies grow their Medicare premium costs based actual age. Medigap companies also can petition the state insurance commissioner to increase their premium price if they have an actual documentable cost increase.

Hi, annually there is a review of premium's pricing by Medigap Plan insurance companies. Look up for the notice the company must send annually, so you can check and compare what other insurance companies are offering for same plan. I cannot speak for BCBS - call them and ask.

Be well.
