A great agent or broker will have the experience to get the job done correctly so you are enrolled on the proper plan, on time and on budget. Long time clientswill usually express their satisfaction through reviews providing verifiable third party experiences. An independent broker will shows clients everything that is available good and bad and not use high pressure sales tactics.

It’s important because Medicare isn’t a one-time decision—it’s something you’ll be dealing with year after year.

An agent might do a great job getting you enrolled, but what really matters is how they show up over time. Reviews from long-term clients tell you that the agent is still there when rates go up, when plans change, or when something doesn’t make sense.

Anyone can help you sign up. Not everyone is there a few years later when you actually need help.

That’s why I always say—look for reviews from people who have worked with the agent over time. It tells you you’re not just getting help today, you’re getting someone in your corner long term.

That is not necessarily important. Friends will leave glowing reviews. It does show a track record. And you want someone who is consistently helping their clients.

AS AN EXPERIENCED AGENT FOR OVER 35 YEARS WITH HUNDREDS OF CLIENTS STILL IN MY BOOK OF BUSINESS THEY ALL DEPEND ON ME FOR MY PROFESSIONAL ADVICE. I ONLY ENROLL MY CLIENTS IN PLANS THAT ARE SUITABLE FOR THEM AND HAVE ACTUALLY REFUSED TO ENROLL PEOPLE WHO WANT TO CHOOSE A PLAN THAT IS NOT SUITABLE FOR THEM. I POLITELY ADVISE THEM TO CHOOSE A DIFFERENT AGENT. CONTACT ME.

It’s important to find a Medicare agent with great reviews from long-time clients because it shows they provide dependable, ongoing support—not just help during enrollment. Medicare needs can change over time, and an experienced, well-reviewed agent is more likely to be responsive, knowledgeable, and committed to helping you review and adjust your coverage each year. Positive feedback from existing clients is a strong indicator that you’ll receive consistent, high-quality service you can trust.

Reviews from clients give you an idea of how that agent works. Do they respond in a timely manner? Are they helpful in finding solutions? Will they just sell you a plan and then you never hear from them again?

A great agent truly cares about their clients. They care about not only your experience, but your health as well. I understand that your health will change from year to year and your budget may change as well. That is why having an agent who responds to you is so invaluable.

If you enroll through the company and you run into problems, you will spend a lot of time on the phone, telling your story over and over to multiple people before you reach the right department.

Having an agent means you have a real, live person to call to receive help. No repeating yourself over and over, just real help from someone who knows you personally and cares about you.
