Marshall Orenic, Medicare Insurance Agent

About Me

I work to give my clients peace of mind and a clear plan for the future. That includes helping with health and life insurance, clarifying Medicare options and evaluating retirement planning tools. I help individuals, families and businesses with a wide range of goals and budgets because everyone deserves to feel financially secure.

My process starts with discovering your goals and thoroughly assessing your situation. We can review your existing insurance coverage or start from scratch with any questions you have. You will have everything you need to make well-informed decisions.

As an independent advisor with Futurity First, I provide truly objective guidance. Rather than just offer a few solutions, I can access FFIG’s massive portfolio including many of the top names in the industry. You will get a customized plan tailored to your specific needs.

I enjoy being an active part of our community helping local neighbors secure their future.

Q&A with Marshall Orenic

What are the reasons why I should work with a Medicare agent?

Answer: You should always work with someone who is trained and certified to help with Medicare. As an agent, it is my job to ensure that you sign up correctly and understand what your out of pocket costs, premiums, coverages and much more.

What do I do if I cannot afford my Medicare premiums?

Answer: There are zero premium plans for those who qualify. I take a look at all options when I meet with my clients each year.

My mom is considering switching to a Medicare Advantage plan because her friends say it's better. She's scared of losing her current doctors. How can we check?

Answer: All plans have tools to check what plans doctors accept. It's easy to find, but I'd love to help in any way needed!

How do you educate clients who are completely new to Medicare?

Answer: I give my clients the time and resources they need to understand Medicare. I do phone consultations, zoom meetings, office meetings or home visits.

What should I do with my Medicare plan if I'm diagnosed with a rare disease requiring specialists?

Answer: Call me! I can help you determine what is best for your specific situation. You probably won't have to do anything.

Why not just call the insurance carrier directly?

Answer: That depends on what you are calling them for :)

I represent many different carriers and will suggest a certain carrier based on the individual needs of my clients.

What is the biggest mistake seniors make when enrolling in Medicare?

Answer: I would say the biggest mistake is not taking advantage of the guarantee acceptance on Medicare supplement policies. Once you are past that opportunity it can cost you down the road.

I'm confused about all these different Medicare costs - premiums, deductibles, copays. How do they all work together?

Answer: Great question! That is why it is important to take the time to allow a trained and licensed agent walk you through the process and explain each part in detail.

I don't understand how my friend pays nothing for their plan and I pay over $200-are these plans just totally random by ZIP code?

Answer: There are many different types of plans out there, just like regular health insurance. Deductibles, co-pays & other factors play into the monthly premium amounts (but necessarily by zip code!)

What do you like most about being a Medicare agent?

Answer: I love helping educate people on Medicare. It is very satisfying to be able to support my family by helping others feel protected and knowledgeable about Medicare.
