I need a hearing aid but I've heard Medicare doesn't cover them. Is there any way around this?
Answer: You have heard correct. Original Medicare does not cover hearing aids. However, some Medicare advantage plans may have some hearing aid coverage. You may also check with an audiologist as some hearing aid manufactures have programs that may help with the cost.
My pharmacist mentioned the Medicare "donut hole" is going away in 2025. What does that actually mean for me?

So my friend told me I should just go with the cheapest Medicare plan. That sounds too simple - what am I missing?
Answer: The cheapest plan isn’t always the best plan. Your needs & wants in a plan may be different than that of your friends. This is why it is best to work with an agent or broker so the we can find out what your wants & needs are & match you with the best plan.
