About Me

My name is Patty Halsey. I would love to “de-mystify” Medicare for you and your loved ones!

My diverse professional background includes my early life in Southern California working in healthcare and teaching university-level Speech. After moving to the Pacific Northwest, I channeled my skills and experience into new paths working with global non-profits, high-tech software firms and serving as the Business Manager for my local Chamber of Commerce. All in all, I’ve had a great professional life filled with public facing roles, travel, challenges to resolve and exciting, inspiring encounters with some of the smartest, coolest people on this earth.

When I was offered the chance to enter the insurance industry, I hesitated at first. I mean, selling insurance sounded... boring! How wrong I was. I quickly realized I had found my calling. Nothing is more rewarding and satisfying than helping a new client understand Medicare in clear, simple terms, especially after learning that their stress and worry about Medicare enrollment, and current or pending health concerns, had been keeping them up at night. This role allows me to care more deeply, and share a trusted bond with my clients more profoundly than any client relationship I have ever experienced. I truly adore my clients. Their steady list of referrals suggest the feeling is mutual.

My colleagues who sell home and auto insurance must shake their heads in wonder why so many of my clients conclude our meeting with a warm hug and effusive thank yous. It’s because they are RELIEVED to know they have a trusted advocate to help them navigate the ever-shifting world of Medicare.
