Tina VanPhung, Medicare Insurance Broker
About Me
Thank you for reading my profile, and a warm welcome to Insurance Resources NW!
I am the proud broker and owner of this dedicated agency. We are family-owned and operated and specialize in all facets of Medicare options such as Part C, Medicare Advantage, Part D Prescription Drug and Medicare Supplement (Medigap) plans G, N, and Marketplace Individual Health Plan.
With 10+ years of experience guiding individuals through life changes, such as loss of employment, divorce, turning 65, moving and retiring, and looking for health insurance for the first time, I understand that it can be daunting and confusing.
I am committed to helping you find the perfect health plan option that aligns with your needs and budget to ensure a smooth transition from employer coverage, marketplace, or loss of Medicaid to the subsequent coverage, whether it be Marketplace or Medicare.
2025 will undoubtedly be a year with many changes in health insurance due to the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), which will reduce the Part D Prescription Drug annual out-of-pocket costs to $2000 and eliminate the Coverage Gap, also known as the Donut Hole. Thus, Medicare Advantage plans may have increased deductibles and co-pays and reduced some annual allowance benefits.
One key benefit of our services is that they are entirely free. I am compensated directly by the insurance companies when I help you enroll in a plan of your choice. Thus, you can benefit from my expertise and personalized assistance without financial burden. Rest assured, this compensation does not affect the cost of your plan, or you will receive fewer benefits.
Are you ready to explore your Medicare insurance options with us? Please fill out the get in touch form and let us help you find the right plan. Don't forget to mention that you found us on Medicare Agents Hub!

Q&A with Tina VanPhung
What's one piece of advice you wish every senior knew before picking a Medicare plan?
Answer: Seniors should have some knowledge of how Medicare works, and the difference between Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplement plans. They should compare plans, networks, and possible annual out-of-pockets of each type of plan.
Can you describe a time when you helped a client navigate a complex Medicare issue?
Answer: A member qualified for a Special Enrollment Period to enroll in a Medicare Supplement plan without underwriting due to a change in residence. However, their initial application was denied because they were receiving treatment for dementia per state regulations. We then applied with a different carrier, which was approved immediately.
