Can you explain how Medicare works with other types of insurance like Veterans Affairs benefits or employer plans?
Answer: Typically when you are a veteran for Instance you have a chronic condition you are allowed to get on a chronic condition plan such as a C snip. plan that many carriers cover and not lose any of your veteran benefits, and still benefit from that plan with has additional Benefits to what you already have with the veterans plan, typically many veterans have TRICARE… you will not lose that coverage in addition to a chronic condition plan designed to help a beneficiary.
What's the best way to compare my current Medicare supplement plan to a Medicare advantage plan?
Answer: Just compare the plans by what you are lacking and what you need or looking for that will best assist you and your daily life consider which plan is the best for you by looking at what each plan offers.
If Medicare Supplement (Medigap) plans are better for long-term coverage, why don't more people choose them?
Answer: Because people have a choice to choose whatever plan best fits their needs and whatever plan they want to be on.
Do I have to apply for Medicare if I am still working past 65?
Answer: Yes, you can delay signing up as long as you have coverage from your employer specifically concerning part B, however, when your employment ends, or you happen to lose coverage with employer. you have eight months to Enroll in Medicare.
I tried calling Medicare and got transferred five times. Is there any way to get straight answers from them?

What's the most important question I should be asking about Medicare that I probably haven't thought of yet?
Answer: The most important question should always be concerning your benefits and what you actually have for example like, what carrier are you with Aetna? Humana? Etc.. do you have original. medicare and PPO or do you have Medicare advantage plan? You should also keep track of the special dates that you can make necessary changes if needed.
Can I get a Medigap plan with Guaranteed Issue if I'm losing my employer coverage?
Answer: If you receive communication from your employer that your health insurance coverage is ending, you may apply for a Medicare supplement plan starting 60 days before the loss of coverage and guaranteed issue rights end in 63 days after you lose coverage.
Does Medicare Part A cover outpatient surgery, or is that strictly under Part B?
Answer: Medicare part A may cover outpatient surgery, but part B typically covers the cost. For example if you need a more complex procedure part A may cover the cost.
What's the trade-off between a Medicare Advantage PPO and HMO when it comes to flexibility?
Answer: Medicare advantage PPO plans offer more flexibility in choosing providers, but may have a higher out-of-pocket cost, while medicare advantage HMO plans usually require selecting a primary care provider and tend to have less provider flexibility.
