Answer: Annual wellness visit covers medical review of you medical conditions, prescription, routine assessment of cognitive functions and some degree of preventative services and test.

Answer: The best way to compare medicare plans for your parents is to get in contact with a repritable Independent Insurance Agent who is contracted with multiple carriers, affliated with professional organisation, has reviews on the Better Business Bureau, etc. That agent must be willing to analyze your prescriptions, doctors and needs. Of course you can use medicare.gov but someone with working knowledge of the industry is always the best option.

Answer: There are plan that allows you to travel anywhere. However, Medicare is only accept in the continental USA and it's territories. Outside of the USA you will have to pay out of pocket and file for reimbursement base on Medicare rate with the necessary paperwork.

I'm on Medicare but recently declared bankruptcy due to medical bills. How will this affect my coverage and options going forward?

Answer: The bankruptcy will not affect your Medicare benefits. Because Medicare is a federal government program it has no bearing on your credit or look at your credit score.

If we choose a Medicare Advantage plan and later regret it, can we go back to Original Medicare without penalties?

Answer: Yes, you can go back to Original Medicare without penalties. However, you must consider the out of pocket costs that you will incur (Hospital stay cost part A, 20% part B and prescription drug plan). If you are considering a Medicare Supplement plan if you are in the trial right period you will have guarantee issue. But outside of that period depending on the state you may have to go through medical underwriting.
