What do you like most about being a Medicare agent?
Answer: What I like most about being a Medicare agent is helping people understand their options and making a confusing process feel easier and less stressful. I enjoy building relationships with clients, supporting underserved communities, and knowing I can make a real difference by helping people get the healthcare coverage they need. The main thing is that I am able to help people and I learn so much from my clients.
What is Medicare Part B?
Answer: Medicare Part B helps cover medical services like doctor visits, outpatient care, preventive services, lab work, durable medical equipment, and some home health services. Most people pay a monthly premium for Part B, and it helps pay for medically necessary care to keep you healthy and treat illnesses or injuries
If I’m in a Medicare Advantage plan, will I still need prior authorization for procedures next year?
Answer: Yes it is but there is a mandatory approval for many services. Such as MRI, different types of scans.
Does Medicare cover health care services on a cruise ship?
Answer:
Medicare generally does not cover health care services except in some circumstances. Like if the ship is in US waters or 6 hours from a US port and the doctor needs to be legally authorized to practice.
Medicare Advantage plans may offer emergencies services.
Medicare Supplement may cover 80% and have a $250 deductible it will depend on the plan.
Will Medicare cover asthma and other breathing conditions?
Answer: Myra, it will. As far as the medication is concerned it will depend on the medication the client is taking will depend on what formulary it would be on and if it would be covered.
