If I have both Medicare and employer health insurance, which one pays first?

Answer: Medicare will pay first, and your employer health insurance (or your spouse's) health plan will pay second. If there is more than 20 plus employees, then the employer health plan will pay first and Medicare as a backup. Just depends on the situation.
