How does Medigap Plan K compare to Plan G for someone on a tight budget?
Answer: Plan G : pay more but almost cover everything and still have to pay part B
Suite for who want to have a peace of mind no surprise bills
Plan K : 50% for many services but there is out of pocket max (~$7,000/year) suite for who rarely go to see the doctor
* Plan G=pay more , peace of mind
* Plan K =Pay less -share of cost but there is maximum out of pocket
If a senior is turning 65 but still working, should they enroll in Medicare or delay it?
Answer: Even you are still working, you need to enroll
Medicare part A . When you’re retired then you continue enrolling part B and D to avoid penalty.
My friend said she got a free annual physical with Medicare, but my doctor billed me. What's going on?
Answer: Hi, it could be that your doctor is out of network, or the plan you enrolled in is PPO, or the plan has changed and started paying premiums this year. Check the customer service number on the health plan card and ask or contact me; I might be able to see the problem.
