Q&A with Robert Krauthamer
What benefits are there to working with a Medicare Agent near me vs remote/virtual?
Answer: While Medicare is a federal program, the rules and prices for Medicare Supplement programs vary from state to state. As an insurance agent that only works with residents of Washington State, I am very familiar with the rules that apply to you. In addition, Medicare Advantage plans vary by county, so my local knowledge is extremely helpful.
I’m enrolled in a Medigap Plan F, and I’m not sure how my emergency room visits are handled. Is there a copay I should expect?
Answer: If you are enrolled in a Plan F you should not expect to have a copay.
Feel free to call me if you have additional questions about your Plan F or other Medicare related questions.

If a senior is turning 65 but still working, should they enroll in Medicare or delay it?
Answer: If you are working for an employer with 20 or more employees and you have health insurance with them that is on average equal or better than what Medicare offers, then you could delay enrolling in Medicare. For some people it may make sense to enroll in Part A only. If you are paying a high premium for your employer health insurance, you may want to compare your employer plan with your Medicare options.
