Matt Rolph, Medicare Insurance Agent

About Me

I grew up in Indianapolis and have lived in Southern California since 2003. I have a teenage son who loves basketball and keeps me busy. I’m also a big fan of the ocean and sailing. Before insurance, I spent 15 years as a personal fitness trainer and gym owner, which taught me how to help people stay healthy—something that translates well into Medicare advising.

I entered the insurance field in 2022 with guidance from a close friend and mentor who has spent his career in Medicare. What I enjoy most about this work is meeting people and helping them make informed decisions about their health coverage. It’s meaningful, rewarding, and I’m grateful to be part of it.

Q&A with Matt Rolph

How will advancements in wearable health tech (like smartwatches) integrate with Medicare?

Answer: Wearable health tech, like smartwatches, could tie into Medicare by supporting things like remote monitoring and chronic care management. If the devices are medically necessary and approved, they might help track health in real-time and qualify for coverage under certain Medicare programs.
