Is the cost of Medicare different for everyone?

Answer: Yes, age, needs, income level, medications, overall health plays a big part in the overall cost of Medicare.

What is the benefit to me if I use your Medicare Referral phone number?

Answer: I offer a great referral program for my clients. It's a nice way to reward my clients and my clients know their family and friends will be properly taken care of.

How can I verify if a Medicare Advantage plan's advertised benefits are legit?

Answer: Talk to a professional. Also, try review the plan's Summary of Benefits to find out what is benefits and copays.

What advice would you give to seniors who are feeling overwhelmed by all the Medicare options available?

Answer: Call a professional. Medicare Brokers are certified, licensed and have the tools and experience to get the info you need.

Why do people still get large medical bills even with Medicare?

Answer: People with Medicare often face large medical bills because it does not cover all expenses. Cost-sharing (deductibles, coinsurance, and 20% Part B copayments), high of out-of-pocket maximums in Original Medicare, uncovered services (dental, vision, hearing), and expensive prescription drugs.

How well does Medicare support seniors who need assisted living, or does it fall short?

Answer: In general, Medicare will not cover assisted living costs. While Medicare does not cover assisted living, it will continue to pay for all approved services under Parts A and B—such as hospital stays, doctor visits, procedures, and screenings.

How do Medicare Savings Programs help with Medicare costs?

Answer: Medicare Savings Programs are income based. Medicare Savings Programs (MSPs) help individuals with limited income and resources pay for certain out-of-pocket costs associated with Medicare, such as premiums, deductibles, and coinsurance. These programs, managed by Medicaid in each state but funded by the federal government, aim to make Medicare more affordable for those who need it most.

I'm caring for my spouse with dementia and experiencing caregiver burnout. Will Medicare cover any mental health support for me?

I've heard about IRMAA affecting my Medicare premiums. How can I find out if it applies to me, and how does it work?

Answer: There is an income bracket that shows the rate for your Medicare premiums. Your modified adjusted gross income has to be about 106,000 to incur a surcharge.
