Answer: No not necessarily a good agent will go over all of your option for you so you could pick a plan that fits your needs.

Answer: Yes you will get one every year. You should have gotten yours by now if you do not have it you could call the member number on the back of your insurance card. Or call your agent. To get the changes for next year.

Answer: If you already have your Medicare A and B. It's important to ensure that you have your new Medicare Advantage plan or Medigap plan applied for prior to your work Insurance being terminated you have 63 days from your last coverage date to enroll in a qualified Medicare Plan

Will my Medicare plan work when traveling to Europe?

Answer: You will have to call the member service number on the back of your Medicare Advantage card. Because they are all different. But usually they do cover emergencies. But before you do you need to call member services.

I've got a Medicare Advantage plan, and I'm curious if my upcoming eye surgery is fully covered or if I'll owe extra out of pocket.

Answer: That depends on what Medicare Advantage plan you have. You probably will have to pay some out-of-pocket. You need to look at your summary of benefits. Or call the number on the back of your card and they will let you know exactly what you need to pay.

How do I report a suspicious Medicare billing error without getting in trouble myself?

Answer: First, I would contact your doctor's office and ask them about the charges. Then I would call your plans Member Service billing and ask them about the charges, if that doesn't work, and it is a Medicare Advantage pla,n call the investigations number.

If I need long-term care in the future, how does Medicare fit into that plan, and what should I be doing now to prepare?

Answer: Medicare does not cover long-term care. Look into long-term policies. These policies can be more expensive as you age. Medicaid may be an option for you if you need financial assistance. Plan ahead of time.

I just moved from New York to Florida and have Original Medicare with a New York Medigap plan. Do I need to change my coverage?

Answer: No the answer is no. But you need to notify your Medigap insurer of your new address to avoid any issues. You can also choose to switch to a Medigap plan available in Florida because this would be an SEP (special enrollment period) which you are eligible for due to your move.

Does Medicare cover medical marijuana if it's prescribed for chronic pain or cancer?

Answer: No Medicare does not cover medical marijuana if it's prescribed for chronic pain or cancer the answer is no. However some Part D and Medicare Advantage plans may cover FDA approved cannabis. Coverage can vary.

What happens if I delay Medicare Part A enrollment because I'm still on my spouse's employer plan?

Answer: If you delay Medicare part A enrollment because you are still on your spouse's employer plan you will not incur any penalties as long as you remain covered by that plan. However if you or your spouse leave the employer plan you will need to enroll in Medicare part A to avoid any late enrollment penalties it is important to evaluate the cost and benefits of your current employer plan and Medicare to make an informed decision. You should compare your work plan with Medicare to see if it will be cheaper for you to go that way.
