What do you like most about being a Medicare agent?
Answer: My favorite aspect of what I do is making a difference.Being on the right plan can change the quality of life for many people . I love what I get to do each day- especially education people on their many options and helping them navigate all of the choices they have.
Does Medicare cover nutrition counseling for high cholesterol?
Answer: The short answer is yes- if you have high cholesterol and meet the other requirements- also a referral from your doctor will likely be required.
Why does Medicare have so many coverage gaps, and is it designed that way on purpose?
Answer: The gaps arise from the structure of the program and its cost-sharing mechanisms. Medicare does cover a broad range of medical services, but it does not cover everything. Persons on Medicare are responsible for certain out-of-pocket expenses like deductibles, copayments, and coinsurance. These gaps are not intentionally designed to cause hardship. They occur due to policy choices and cost-sharing which anre intended to balance affordability and comprehensiveness.
