Medicare provides coverage for up to 8 face-to-face counseling sessions per year for smoking cessation. These sessions can be provided by a physician, nurse practitioner, or clinical
psychologist, and they can be part of either.
Medicare Part D (Prescription Drug Plan) covers certain medications to help with smoking cessation, like:
Nicotine gum or patches
Prescription medications (e.g., Zyban, Chantix)
Answer: You have to have a qualifying disability. You also have to be on disability for two years before you qualify for Medicare
Answer: Most insurance carriers including Medicare do not cover Long Term care. There are separate policies that can be purchased.

At this time in my career, I have not had to fight through the appeals process to secure coverage.

Answer: They have gotten rid of the donut hole. To answer that question you need to speak with an agent so he/she can go over all the medications that you take.
Answer: It does not affect your Medicare Coverage. Most dialysis places have a case manager that will help you get extra benefits to cover the cost of dialysis.
Answer: There is no longer a donut hole. Once you have paid $2000. your medicine will cost zero. You can always make sure you are on the right plan by going to Medicare.gov and type in your medication.
Answer: One of the biggest mistakes is not connecting with someone that can help answer their questions. Such as what coverage do I need are my doctors in network are all my medications covered.
Answer: Each carrier is in titled to offer different extras in their plans. Your friend is probably on a different plan than you are. You can always call your carrier to see if you may have a fitness benefit.
Answer: We agents never use the word "free" when working with clients that is very misleading. All plans do have a cost involved and should be reviewed with each client that an agent works with to make sure they understand.
Answer: Working with an agent gives you someone local that knows your area and the doctors, and which plans they are in network with. Also, an agent gives you someone to call with your questions or any problems you may encounter.
