Q&A with Heather Saiki
I have Original Medicare, and I'm wondering if I'd save more on my dental cleanings if I switched to a Medicare Advantage plan instead.
Answer: It depends on where you live on what types of advantage plans are available. Also would need to confirm if your dentist is a provider for the Medicare advantage plan.
What are the pros and cons of Medicare Supplement Plan G VS Medicare Supplement Plan N?
Answer: Once you hit your deductible with plan G you do not have copays and Medicare excess charges are covered. Plan N you could be charged excess charges and will have copays after deductible was met.
How to know if a Medicare agent is legitimate?
Answer: Check their license status through the state board of insurance. Ask to see their license. It should be posted in their office.
Should I review my ANOC with my Medicare agent?
Answer: You should always review your ANOC each year with your agent. The plans change every year. You don’t want to get stuck in the wrong plan.
