Answer: No, Original Medicare A&B will not cover Dental Implants. Some Medicare Advantage Plans might cover them. But that would vary by plan. So, I would advise checking with the Carrier. If they do cover them, it would usually be something that would be deemed medically Necessary.
Does Medicare cover emergency care if I'm traveling in a U.S. territory like Puerto Rico?
Answer: This will Depend on what kind of Medicare Plan you have. If you have original Medicare(A&B) it will be covered in PR or any US territory. If you have Medicare Advantage you would need to check with your Insurance Carrier. Medicare Advantage plans work with specific networks. If you have a Medigap (Medicare supplement plan should cover, you in a US territory. I would always advise to contact your Insurance Carrier to verify.
