Emily C, Medicare Insurance Agent
About Me
Serving Northeast and Central Wisconsin
As the daughter of agency founder Douglas Arndt, I’m proud to continue the tradition of personalized, independent insurance guidance here at Woodside Financial Services. I help clients make sense of Medicare and other health insurance options by listening first, explaining clearly, and focusing on what matters most to you.
In addition to Medicare, I also assist with Marketplace (ACA), dental, vision, and life insurance—so whether you’re transitioning to Medicare, self-employed, managing coverage for a younger spouse, or just need help sorting through your options, I’m here to walk with you every step of the way.
Born and raised in rural Wisconsin, I understand the needs of our community—and I’m committed to making sure you feel confident in your coverage decisions.

Q&A with Emily C
What are the reasons why I should work with a Medicare agent?
Answer: Working with an independent agent means you’ve got someone in your corner who isn’t tied to one company. We can compare plans across multiple carriers, explain the differences in plain English, and help you avoid costly mistakes. There’s no extra cost for our help, and we'll be here when things change or questions come up down the road. We also help clients navigate claims issues etc. It's nice to have someone local that understands your needs better than someone might at a call center in another region.
Do I qualify for SEP if my health dramatically gets worse out of nowhere?
Answer: No, sudden change in your health alone doesn’t qualify for a SEP. However, if you’re diagnosed with a chronic condition that qualifies you for a Chronic Condition Special Needs Plan (C-SNP), that could open a SEP.
