Q&A with Eduardo Camacho

What are the reasons why I should work with a Medicare agent?

Answer: Clients can be overwhelmed by the Medicare Health Insurance Program and all the red tape, working with an Agent who is already is familiar with the Ins and outs allows the customer to relax and trust that the Agent is looking out for their best interest and can hold their hand and walk them through the enrollment process

What's the most frustrating misconception you have to clear up with clients about Medicare every year?

Answer: The most frustrating thing that I have run across is when people who turn 65 and believe that enrolling in a Part D prescription drug plan is optional and that there will be consequences if they don't

My doctor wants me to try acupuncture for my back pain. Will Medicare cover any of this?

Answer: Yes Medicare can cover Acupuncture, the amount of coverage will be outlined on the in the individual advantage plan or if enrolled in a Medigap plan then Medicare will cover at least eight sessions

Is it better to get Medicare Part D or Medicare Advantage?

Answer: I think the answer is in what the client values the most, A stand Alone Part D plan only makes sense if you want to have a Medigap Plan and want to have the freedom to switch Medical Service Providers at any time, If you enroll in Medicare Advantage it makes senses to have all services covered under one plan rather than have duplicate premium separate that covers only medications.
