This was my first experience with Medicare and he was fantastic! He answered all my questions and provided me with pamphlets to read and review before our final meeting to sign up for a plan. It was such a painless process! Highly recommend!

Q&A with Drew Bismack

Does Medicare cover Advair, and what will it cost me under Part D?

Answer: Medicare itself doesn't cover drugs. You will need to buy a Part D plan from a private insurer like Blue Cross. Then you can use the carrier's formulary to see the cost of the drug.

Is COBRA considered creditable coverage for Medicare, or do I still need to sign up for Part B?

Answer: No it’s not. COBRA is typically used when a member retires from a group and isn’t eligible

For Medicare yet. You would want to sign up for Part B as soon as possible.

What are the reasons why I should work with a Medicare agent?

Answer: The top reasons someone should work with a local Mediacre agent are: 1) they are trained professionals in their field, and go through updated training every year; 2) it costs $0 to get support; and 3) their support continues throughout the entire year.
