Connor Abel, Medicare Insurance Broker

About Me

I’m Connor Abel—Marine Corps veteran, proud Oklahoman, and the founder of Abel Insurance. I specialize in helping individuals and families navigate Medicare with clarity, confidence, and care.

After serving as a Sergeant and completing two deployments, I transitioned from military service to community service—guiding people through one of the most confusing systems in America: Medicare. Whether you’re turning 65, retiring, moving, or simply overwhelmed by all the mail and jargon, I’m here to help make sense of it all.

At Abel Insurance, every plan recommendation is personalized—based on your health needs, prescriptions, doctor preferences, and budget. I don’t work for an insurance company—I work for you.

I’m licensed in Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, and Missouri, and have had the honor of helping hundreds of clients find peace of mind and the right coverage. My goal isn’t to sell you a policy—it’s to serve you with integrity and leave you feeling empowered in your choices.

If you’re ready to get clear on Medicare without the pressure, I’d be honored to help.

Q&A with Connor Abel

What do you like most about being a Medicare agent?

Answer: I love being able to take someone from confusion to clarity within 1 sit down meeting. I also find a high honor in being able to serve my local community in a real practical way that makes a difference.

Are Medicare Advantage plans really "free," or is that just clever marketing?

Answer: They’re called “free,” but it’s kind of like getting a free cruise and then realizing drinks, meals, and excursions cost extra. Most plans have a $0 premium, but you’ll still pay out-of-pocket when you actually use the plan—so it’s not nothing, it’s just not upfront.
