Answer: Generally speaking medicare supplement plans require medical underwriting unless you are enrolling during your guarantee issue enrollment period which is available to newly eligible Medicare beneficiaries
I'm turning 65 next month; what are the first steps I should take regarding Medicare enrollment?
Answer: If you are losing your group health insurance or you don’t want to continue with it then you will want to contact Medicare and sign up for Par B .
My Advantage plan says I need a referral just to see a dermatologist. I thought PPOs didn't require that - was I wrong?
Answer: A Medicare ppo will not require a referral to see a specialist. More than likely you have an HMO plan

Answer: It depends, some times they are educational in nature and don’t pitch any particular plans. Others only present one plan and attempt to ignore other plans that might be a better for you. I think it’s best to work with a Broker that can offer all available plans.
