If I live part of the year abroad, do I still have to pay for Medicare if I don’t use it?
Answer: Yes you are still required to pay for your part b premium. If you still want to be enrolled into Medicare.
What happens to my Medicare coverage if I move to a U.S. territory like Guam or the Virgin Islands?
Answer: You will still have Medicare coverage but if you have a Medicare advantage plan. It will be canceled and you will have to find one where you are newly located at.
How can I plan for Medicare costs if I expect to need long-term custodial care in a nursing home or assisted living facility?
Answer: You can look into long term care insurance. It will help cover your expenses if you will need it in the future.
How to know if a Medicare agent is legitimate?
Answer: You can ask for the agent's NPN and look it up on the National Insurance Producer Registry. You will be able to see their information which proves they are legit.
If I have been on disabilty due to an accident, do I qualify for Medicare Insurance?
Answer: If you are receiving SSIDI disability and have been on it for 24 months are longer than yes you would be eligible.
