Answer: Yes, this is true. For 2026 it is capped at $2,100.

If you qualify for Extra Help through Social Security, or Medicaid you can also get assistance with your drugs.

I'm living solely on Social Security of $1,400 monthly and can't afford my Medicare premiums and copays. What assistance programs might help someone in my situation?
