About Me

When it comes to Medicare Insurance, you have choices - and that's the good news. Having an experienced professional to help you navigate those choices and understand what they really mean, can make the entire process far less confusing or overwhelming.

For more than 20 plus years, I've had the priviledge of working with people just like you who want clear, honest guidance on what to do and how to make sense of the options available through Medicare. As an Independent Insurance Agent, my role is to help you understand all the different ways you can use your Medicare benefits, then simplify and narrow down your plan options to focus on the plans that truly fit your specific needs and budget.

My goal is to ensure you end up with a plan you feel confident and comfortable with - and hopfully gives you peace of mind along the way.

There is no cost for working with me. As an Independent Agent, I represent a wide variety of well known Insurance Carriers that offer Medicare Supplement, Medicare Advantage Plans, and Prescription drug plans.

If You're ready to explore your options, feel free to contact me first, I'm here to help you make Medicare simple.

Q&A with Cathy Richey

I have a family history of colon cancer. Will Medicare cover more frequent colonoscopies for someone in my situation?

Answer: Yes, once every 24 months (or once every 2 years) if you have a family history of colon cancer, you would be considered a high risk individual, and be covered for a colonoscopy as frequently as every 24 months. Without the family history or otherwise high risk factor, Medicare covers getting a colonoscopy as a preventative service, every 120 months (or every 10 years) for average risk individuals.
