About Me

I am Barbara, a Medicare insurance agent with over 40 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a major focus on health insurance. I offer individual, family, and small business health insurance plans, dental and vision coverage, critical illness, disability income, international medical travel, hospital indemnity insurance, and all the Medicare options.

My passion is helping and educating people about health insurance, making sure they understand what they are purchasing, and providing information so they can confidently make the best choice for themselves. I joined the insurance industry in 1981 at GEICO and later worked for Mercer Consulting for 25 years, where I gained experience in advertising, retirement consulting, compliance, and accounting.

In 2019, I decided to shift gears from corporate benefits consulting to working with small businesses and one-on-one with individuals. I now enjoy working more directly with people and assisting them in finding the most compatible insurance plan(s) for their particular needs. I began my journey with Medicare insurance at the same time.

I am incredibly grateful for my parents' decision to move to Colorado when I was young because I love where I live along the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. In my personal life, I enjoy spending time with my two grown children and four grandchildren, along with my two Shih-Poo dogs. I also enjoy family time, church, walking my dogs, exercising, reading, crafts, horseback riding, swimming, and eating chocolate.
