When my husband dies, do I get his Social Security and mine?
Answer: The depends on how he setup his Social Security. He could have done it to where he go the most until he dies or he could have set it up to get less but give it to you when he passes away. That is all in how it was done.
Do I need to carry my Medicare card if I have a Medicare Advantage plan?
Answer: Short answer is yes. I would always care both of your cards with you to give to the doctors office.
Can I use my Medicare when I travel to another state?
Answer: That depend on if you have Medicare Advantage or is you have Medicare Supplement(Medigap). Medicare Advantage is a in-network plan where Medigap can be used any where and if you have a specific plan can be used internationally up to a life-time limit

Answer: Yes Medicare many Medicare Advantage plans include dental. But, this depends on the specific plan you have. Also, the level of coverage will depend on what plan you have

Answer: Yes Medicare advantage can drop you or the company can go out of business. Normally this will result in a grace period where you can get guaranteed issue for Medicare supplement

Answer: You would need to make sure the procedure is medically necessary. You can also search on the Medicare website to see if it is covered.

Answer: The Medicare Advantage plan is an option for people that can not afford a supplement. The advantage is you pay little to nothing for advantage. The disadvantage is it is a network plan meaning you can only get the benefits if you stay in the network

Answer: You should work with an agent that is going to do what is best for you. There are many agents out there and the benefit is you have someone to educate you on the different parts of Medicare and also some that can help you with future planning as well.

Answer: Medicare agents do get paid for signing clients up. The commission is based on their contracts and the amount of the premiums the clients pays. An agent should always do what is best for the client not what is best for their commission.
