Q&A with Veronica Giron

Can Medicare help cover in-home care for dementia patients who wander or need supervision 24/7?

Answer: Unfortunately, Medicare will not cover ongoing 24/7 supervision alone. For someone with dementia who wanders or needs constant supervision, Medicare's coverage is fairly limited.

What do you like most about being a Medicare agent?

Answer: What I enjoy most about being a Medicare agent is making a real difference in people's lives. Medicare can be confusing, and many individuals feel overwhelmed by their options. I take pride in simplifying the process, educating my clients, and helping them choose coverage that fits their healthcare needs, budget, and lifestyle.

I'm over 65, not enrolled in Part A or B, and leaving active coverage through an employer with 20+ employees for six months of COBRA.
