About Me

Tom Johnson is the founder and President of Still Waters Retirement Solutions, bringing over 20 years of experience in Medicare, life insurance, and annuities. His journey began in the United States Air Force as a mechanic for aircraft and nuclear missile support systems, followed by time in the construction industry alongside his brothers. In 2006, Tom entered the insurance world with Bankers Life in Salt Lake City, quickly rising to the top of the sales ranks. Just two years later, he co-founded Altus Retirement Services, and in 2014, he launched Still Waters to pursue a more personalized and independent approach.

Growing up in northern Utah with humble beginnings, Tom started a family at 19 and built his career without a formal college education. His drive and passion for helping others navigate the complexities of Medicare and retirement planning have made him a trusted advisor to clients across multiple states, primarily Utah and Missouri.
