About Me

Tim Ahlbum has been a licensed Life and health agent since 2002. He graduated from the

University of Central Florida with a degree in finance in 2001. He specializes in using his finance

background to help seniors understand their financial exposure as well as the ways to reduce or

eliminate that exposure. He also prides himself on top notice customer service, he believes that is

the life blood to insurance agency. He also understands that clients are not the same, so the ability

to personalize plans to fit specific needs is where he excels.

Tim spent the first 10 years in the industry working under the tutelage of his father Jon Ahlbum. Jon,

the owner of The Ahlbum Group, has over 35 years of expertise in the Medicare field. Jon entered

the insurance field after the untimely passing of Tim’s mother, he needed a type of employment that

would allow him flexibility to care for his four children. He decided insurance was his best

opportunity for this. Through his hard work, knowledge, and customer care, Jon has built one of the

most respected and successful Medicare agencies in the county. He just celebrated his 80th birthday and still goes to the office every day.

In 2012, Tim opened his own Health Insurance Agency, Health Coverage Solutions, he likes to

consider the agency as an extension of The Ahlbum Group. He created this agency to build a team of agents he could guide and mentor just like his father did with him. Health Coverage Solutions is located in Coconut Creek, FL but they ability to serve clients nationwide. Plans vary from state to state so they are constantly monitoring what will work in different areas for their clients. You can visit his office if you are local or one of his team members will come to you. They also offer Zoom appointments if that option is more convenient where no travel is involved.

Currently he resides in Broward County, FL. He has been married to wife Alissa since 2006. They

have two children, Jenna and Camryn.
