About Me

Helping You Navigate the Medicare Maze with Confidence and Care

Most people see Medicare as a daunting stack of paperwork and confusing deadlines. I see it differently. I see it as a vital chapter of your life that deserves a clear, stress-free strategy.

My journey into the world of benefits wasn’t just a career choice; it was driven by a realization that many folks—including my own friends and family—were feeling overwhelmed and underserved by the "big box" insurance approach. I founded Rogala Benefits to change that. I believe that your healthcare coverage should be as unique as your own story, not a one-size-fits-all plan pushed by a call center.

Why Work With Me?

I don’t just sell plans; I build relationships. My approach is rooted in education first. I take the time to sit down with you (virtually or in person) to break down the "alphabet soup" of Parts A, B, C, and D. Whether you are turning 65, retiring early or later than most, or looking to optimize your current coverage, I bring a specialized focus to:

* Medicare Supplement & Advantage Strategy: Tailoring plans to fit your specific doctors and buget.

* Prescription Drug Optimization: Ensuring your medications are covered at the lowest possible cost.

* Total Wellness Integration: Looking beyond just the "doctor visit" to ensure your dental, vision, and hearing needs are met.

My Professional Promise

As a licensed and certified Medicare specialist, I stay on top of the ever-changing annual regulations so you don’t have to. When you work with me, you aren't just getting an agent for today; you’re getting a partner who will be there every year during Open Enrollment to ensure your plan still makes sense for your life.

I’m here to take the "scary" out of Medicare and replace it with peace of mind. Let’s find the right path for your future, together.

Planning for early retirement, we had great experience as Tom helped us work through various options. We have some significant health considerations and Tom was excellent at addressing our personal situation instead of giving us generic options. Highly recommend.

Q&A with Tom Rogala

Answer: Medgap supplement plans do not have a book of doctors. Any Doctor or Hospital that takes medicare 80% has to take medigap supplement 20%.

Answer: Your plan changes every year. That is why you need to make sure and have your agent quote even if your plan is currently working for you.

Answer: You can can change to a Medicare advantage plan during Annual Enrollment. The premium is $0 but you will have copays and a book or doctors.

Answer: You do not have to answer health questions during your initial enrollment (turning age 65 or loss of group coverage over age 65) If you ever want to switch from addvantage to a supplement you have to be healthy

Answer: No. You need a long term care policy. The younger and healthier you are the cheaper it will be. Some go with advantage over medigap and use the saving to fund LTC.

Answer: You only have one shot a guaranteed issue into medigap. If you want to move from advantage to gap down the road you have to answer health questions

Answer: Medicare Addvantage Prescription Drug PPO plans are typically $0 premium monthly. When you use it you pay a small copay. The only big copay is cancer and you can get a cancer rider for about $11 per month

Answer: Change from medicare advantage to Medigap. You will pay a monthly premium but never get a bill. You can keep the plan forever and have peace of mind knowing your exact cost upfront

Answer: Complete my survey including drug list and dosge. I can shop all drug plans by total cost

(premium, deductible and copays)

Answer: With HMO plans you have a primary care physician and need referrals to specialist in network. PPO plans let you see doctors and hospitals in network or out without a primary care or referral
