Q&A with Tammy Anderson
I just moved to a new state. Do I need to do anything with my Medicare coverage?
Answer: Yes! You will need to change your address with Medicare and depending on the type of coverage you have, you will need to change your address with the carrier and possibly change your Medicare plan. It's best to reach out to an agent and get help with your specific situation.
What happens if I delay Medicare Part A enrollment because I'm still on my spouse's employer plan?
Answer: Nothing will happen as long as you have credible coverage through the employer. You can choose to enroll in Part A or wait without any issues or penalties.
What are the reasons why I should work with a Medicare agent?
Answer: Working with an Agent, like myself, makes enrolling in Medicare a less stressful process. Even if it looks simple, we are able to help you address questions that you may not even know you have to ensure you are choosing the right Medicare option for you and your situation.
