Answer: If you are covered by an employer plan, then you have credible coverage. You are not required to sign up for Medicare, but you can. If you think that Medicare would be less expensive and have better coverage than your employer plan.
Answer: When your spouse passes away, you will receive the higher amount of your two SS's. How it actually works is, you continuing receiving your Ss and then receive an additional amount to bring your total up to equal his total SS .

Usually the life changing event is work stoppage. You report your estimated income and submit the form to Social Security for approval
Answer: SSDi continues until your Full Retirement Age. At that time you will convert to standard Social Security. Your Medicare will remain intact.
Answer: Most Medicare Advantage Plans include coverage for Dental Cleanings , with in Network Dentists. Out of Network Dentists are sometimes covered at the Network rates, and you would pay the difference.

Answer: After you have been collecting SSDI for 24 months, you will be eligible for Medicare due to the Disability. If you turn 65 at anytime during the 24 month period, you will be eligible for Medicare based on your age (65) and will not have to wait for the 24 months
