Sharri Crawford, Medicare Insurance Broker
About Me
I’ve been helping Medicare clients for 19 years, and I treat every one of them like family. I built Health Wealth Protect LLC here in Rio Rancho to give people real answers—without pressure—so they can get the right Medicare Advantage plan, supplement, or health insurance that actually fits their life. Whether you're turning 65, aging into Medicare, or need Marketplace coverage, I make it easier to understand your options and feel confident in your decision.
My services are free—I only get paid when I help you enroll in a plan that makes sense for you. I’ll meet you at home, at a coffee shop, or over the phone if you're anywhere in New Mexico. I take the time to check that your doctors are in-network and your plan covers what matters to you, whether that’s dental, OTC benefits, or specialists. I’m here to walk you through it all like I would for my own parents or grandparents.
If you call Please Leave a brief message and a good time to return your call. I am not always able to answer the phone as I may be with another client or driving. So Please leave a Message or you can txt msg me as well.

When my husband and I (this is Kelly!) were in the process of retiring, our retirement plan dropped the ball and didn't send a letter we needed to continue our insurance into retirement. So we lost our insurance. I was confused navigating the BeWellNM site and discovered that "assisters" are available. Sharri is one of the assisters in my area so I reached out. She was amazing in walking me through the application process. She encouraged me to take Robert's docs into the state office to get Medicaid approval for him. Then she assisted me in getting a Medicare Advantage plan that allowed me to have the same doctors and prescription companies that I had before. I don't know how we would have gotten coverage without Sharri's help!! Thank you!

Q&A with Sharri Crawford
Answer: Original Medicare will only cover 80% of your Medical and there is no limit to Maximum out of pocket. This is why most people will either add a Medicare supplement or choose a Medicare advantage plan. These plans will give you security in knowing exactly what you pay for health services.
Answer: Medicare agents and brokers both assist with plan enrollment at no cost to you, but agents (especially captive ones) often represent specific insurance companies, while brokers work independently with multiple insurers to compare options. Brokers typically offer a broader, more unbiased selection of plans, whereas agents offer specialized, in-depth knowledge of their specific company's policies
Answer: Yes, Look at the difference between the present year and the up coming year, this is the whole purpose of the ANOC letter. Most of your Doctor visits and Hospital co-pays may or may not have changes small changes. If you had $3000 Dental, Glass $300, OTC 75 per quarter, These extra benefits can change a lot I have seen Dental drop to $1000-$500 on some plans. The Extra Benefits is what you will need to pay the most attention to.
Answer: Most Medicare advantage plans have a $0 monthly plan premium, you just pay Medicare part "B" which is around $202/mo. Since you can get a Medicare advantage for $0 you should look and make sure your Doctors will be covered under the plan you choose. Each company offers different additional benefits so you have to look and see which of the benefits you want more of then choose the plan that fits your needs.
Answer: Your Doctor is the one who will give you Medical Options as to what you need. All depending on what procedure it is may request prior approval from your insurance before procedure is done.
Answer: Yes, Your Daughter can work with a broker as long as you are able to give the agent consent for your daughter to speak on your behalf. The other way is if your daughter has a POA for your Health care.
Answer: When your Dad's social security income changes usually the PART B Premium usually also goes up. If he is only getting Social Security benefits then his Part B primum will change small percentage too.
Answer: Medicare advantage plans will give you a max out of pocket. Original Medicare there is no Max out of pocket. Medicare is a 80% insurance, they pay 805 and you pay 20%, no stop loss.

Answer:
First would be does the consumer have the money to pay for a Medicare supplement?
