When is a good time to start preparing for AEP?
Answer: There is a short window with AEP. the best time to prepare is now!! The Annual notice of Change letter is mailed September 30th. When you get the letter it is very important to review the changes to your current plan. Be sure to review your doctor networks your prescriptions and your benefits. Make sure they are all still in network and covered. Then review other carriers and plans in your area.
What's the trade-off between a Medicare Advantage PPO and HMO when it comes to flexibility?
Answer: That is a great question. Medicare Advantage HMOs offer less flexibility then Medicare Advantage PPOs. Using a PPO you will have a larger network of doctors and specialist locally as well as out side of your area

Answer: Yes many carriers already have apps. They keep track of Member ID card activity rewards that even give you money back for being healthy and active. Its only a matter of time before the App will help with everything
