Answer: There are some big deductibles with Part A that one can hit up to 6x in a calendar year, so it does benefit to learn about how secondary insurance can help with that.

Answer: Yes! Medicare's enrollment periods can be tricky to navigate, but losing coverage is one of the ways to get guaranteed issue plans.

Answer: They go with something recommended by a friend, and not the best plan for them based off of the meds they take. It is best to compare all the options available in your state.

Answer: Although there is a low front end cost for Medicare Advantage, there are copays for services that can add up if you have a catastrophic year including surgeries/hospital stays.

Answer: Outpatient surgeries are strictly part B. Part A takes care of you once you are admitted into the hospital.
