Ryan Ritter, Medicare Insurance Broker
About Me
Medicare doesn’t have to be confusing — and you shouldn’t have to figure it out alone.
I’m Ryan Ritter, founder of Wisdom Insurance Network and a licensed insurance agent helping seniors across East Tennessee and surrounding states navigate Medicare with confidence. My mission is simple: provide honest guidance, clear answers, and year-round support so you can feel comfortable making decisions about your healthcare coverage.
I’ve helped hundreds of Medicare beneficiaries understand their options and enroll in plans that fit their doctors, prescriptions, lifestyle, and budget. Whether you’re new to Medicare, retiring, relocating, or just want to review your current coverage, I’m here to make the process easier.
What sets me apart is that I believe in relationships over transactions. You’re not calling a national call center — you’re working with someone local who takes time to get to know you and remains available after enrollment.

Q&A with Ryan Ritter
Why is it helpful to follow up with your parents after discussing Medicare?
Answer: Its important any caretakers or kids are involved in their parents Medicare decisions so they are aware of what they have in the event of an emergency. Another great reason for someone else to oversee their parents Medicare plan is upon diagnosis of dementia or a serious illness, it wont add stress to the situation trying to understand Medicare and their plan at that time.
How do Medicare Advantage plans make money if many have $0 premiums?
Answer: They have contracts with the government they have to uphold as they manage your care instead of Medicare.
Do I need to enroll in Medicare if I already have VA health benefits?
Answer: It depends if you use civilian coverage or civilian pharmacies you will need coverage. If you use the VA and just want a break on your Part B premium or dental, most carriers offer those options in addition to your VA coverage.
What are the reasons why I should work with a Medicare agent?
Answer: To get local advice on plans local agents deal with everyday. Knowing the network of doctors, copays on command, dental networks and plan details in depth is real advice. Not dealing with a call center agent that is going solely on what technology tells him, if its even correct information.
