Ryan Busler, Medicare Insurance Agent

About Me

I was born and raised in Shawnee, Oklahoma and now my office is right here in downtown Shawnee. I am married to Julie Busler and we have 4 amazing children. I didn’t grow up wanting to work in insurance, I’m actually a Mechanical Engineer and I spent about a decade working at GE/Wood Group in Engineering in Quality and CNC Programming. After GE, I decided to move overseas and plant churches, so I have lived in 5 countries and speak several languages. Due to my wife’s health we returned to Oklahoma in 2018. I immediately began teaching robotics and physics at Shawnee High School, and while I enjoyed it, I found it hard to provide for my family on a teacher’s salary. While teaching, I started working part-time for my family’s insurance business. What began as a way to earn extra income

grew into a passion for me, and I love that I now spend my days educating people about the ins and outs of Medicare. As you can see from my family picture I drive around an old VW camper van. I love working on it and going camping with my family.
