I exercise regularly and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Does Medicare offer any incentives or additional benefits for preventive health behaviors?
Answer: Hello, Medicare does not have any incentives to promote healthy life styles. However, your secondary insurance plan, Medicare Advantage or your Medigap may have a program depending on which insurance company you have, Feel free to contact me for assistance.
Is it better to get Medicare Part D or Medicare Advantage?
Answer: Thanks for your question. There is no one size fits all, when it comes to answering questions having to do with Medicare. This answer really depends on your personal medical needs and your budget. A stand alone Part D plan covers your prescribed medications and refills if you have original Medicare Parts A and B. Since original Medicare does not include prescription coverage, you have to purchase one of these plans, or face possible lifetime penalties. With a Medicare Advantage plan, Part D coverage is usually included. I am happy to discuss your specific plan needs at your convenience at no cost or obligation to you.
