Rick Bechtel is an independent Medicare advisor and licensed Broker with a practice that spans Washington State. Rick’s role is to come alongside senior Americans to help them make sense of the complex Medicare landscape, explore the options available to them, and (when appropriate) enroll in the plan that best matches their needs and interests. He is appointed with most of the leading Medicare insurance providers including United Healthcare (AARP), Humana, Regence Blue Shield, Aetna, Molina, Wellcare and Devoted. Most importantly, his services are entirely cost-free to his clients.

Rick made the decision to shift into Medicare support after a long career spanning public relations, marketing, business administration and management consulting. He has taught at both the university and junior college levels and has served as a public relations vice present, as marketing director for a large law firm and a large regional CPA firm, and as executive vice present and chief marketing officer for a manufacturing/distribution company. He also has led advisory boards for company leaders.

Rick’s shift into Medicare advisory services arose from a desire to “start giving back.” Helping older folks reach confident decisions regarding their health care coverage eliminates a major area of concern, and thereby improves their quality of life. Providing these services free of charge is even more gratifying. In his work, Rick is affiliated with locally based SimpliMedicare.
