My friend said she got a free annual physical with Medicare, but my doctor billed me. What's going on?

Answer: If you visit coded as physical exam vs. wellness visit, the Dr. office may billed for this service as Wellness visit is only covered free by medicare or during wellness visit other services may have done as well which may be the reason for billed by your doctor office. You should check with your doctor office and understand how they coded the visit.

Can Medicare drop me for health reasons?

Answer: Medicare generally cannot be dropped due to health conditions or use of service unless you are not paying premium or losing eligibility or voluntary disenrollment from the plan.
