Philip Watson, Medicare Insurance Agent
About Me
I am a seasoned sales professional having worked in sales for over 30 years. While somewhat new to Medicare, with only 3 years under my belt, I have experienced some success having assisted just short of 300 Medicare recipients find plans that fit their individual needs.
My motivation for ending a somewhat brief retirement was my personal experience with the Medicare market and the agents that sell Medicare Supplement, Advantage, Prescription Drug, Indemnity, and Ancillary products. While I did not experience what could be defined as outright fraud, I don't believe any of the people I dealt with provided a complete, accurate or thorough explanation of Medicare and the options available.
This resulted in several years of excessive and unneeded outlays for both myself and my spouse and then while attempting to locate solutions discovered that a significant percentage of my friends, family, and associates had similar experiences and feelings toward Medicare coverage and agents. In hindsight I now realize that I was offered and sold what was best for someone other than myself, a conclusion I strive to make sure none of my clients ever arrive at.
Prior to my retirement I had a career in IT, primarily in the medical arena working with multiple prominent medical schools including, Georgetown University Medical School, Northwestern University Medical School, the University of Texas Southwest Medical School, Texas Tech Medical School, the University of Kansas Medical School, Loma Linda University Medical School, UCLA Medical School, the UCI Medical School, and the USC Medical School.
I am extremely blessed to have been married to the love of my life for almost 45 years and have one daughter.
