Answer: No, Original Medicare does not cover SilverSneakers. Medicare Advantage plans will at times give you a gym membership.
Can you just have A and B and not enroll in anything else and still have good coverage?
Answer: Of course you can. But if you ever have to be admitted into the hospital, you run the chance of paying lots of money out of your pocket. Original Medicare doesn’t pay for everything. Just make sure that you get an RX plan so that you don’t incur a penalty.
What's the cheapest way to get Medicare coverage if I only need basic hospital care?
Answer: Original Medicare gives you basic hospital care; no need to get additional coverage. But with that said, a Medicare Advantage plan is the least expensive way to get additional coverage.
I've heard about Medicare fraud. What steps can I take to protect myself from scams related to Medicare?
Answer: Do NOT share your Medicare information with anyone over the phone or online. Make sure that you are doing business with a reputable agent before you share your Medicare information with them.

Answer: If an oxygen machine is needed, which is considered durable medical equipment, with Original Medicare, your portion would be 20%.
