Mitzi was extremely helpful and knowledgeable of what options were available. She helped to determine some items that were unclear on moms previous policies. She help direct myself and mom to an excellent choice of coverage for both of us.

Q&A with Mitzi Davis
Answer:
An agent near you cares for YOU. To them you are like family. You can count on them to work hard to get an answer to any questions you have, solve any problems, etc. There is more of a personal connection. They really take in to consideration every factor and give you the best options for you and your situation.
In our experience, the virtual agents tend to be worried only about a sale. It is generally hard to get ahold of them after they sign you up for the plan they recommend. 9/10 times the plan they recommend, isn't even the best fit for you.
Answer: It is different for everyone. What options are available for your county? What meds do you take? Doctors do you see, when you do go to the doctor? Among many other questions that would factor in to what coverage is most cost effective. I would highly recommend reaching out to a local independent agent/broker and scheduling an appointment.
Answer: There are many different ways to explain all of this. My best advice is to contact a local independent broker/agent to sit down with you and explain how they all tie together. It can be very confusing without seeing it in front of you!
Answer: Plans are based on the county you are in. It really is different for each state/county. Without knowing where you are going it is difficult to answer fully. I would highly recommend meeting with a local independent broker/agent to review the best options for you before your move!
Answer: The best way to verify if the advertised plan benefits are correct is to reach out to an independent broker or agent in your area. They should have, or be able to look up, a summary of benefits for whatever plan you are questioning. Have them explain the benefits to you out of the book.
Answer: Yes. You need a scope of appointment to discuss all of it :) The scope is typically signed before the first appointment.
Answer: No, you will still keep all of your benefits. You’ll just need to contact places like Social Security, Medicare, the Post Office, and any other agencies to let them know your last name has changed. They may ask you to provide proof of the change. Depending on your location, there may be an income‑related IRMAA if you and your spouse earn above a certain amount each year. Other than that, nothing about your Medicare should change unless you’re also moving. If you are moving, you’ll want a broker to review your plan as soon as possible to make sure it fits your new county.
Answer: Doctors generally accept both types of coverage. Some may have a preference, but what truly matters is choosing the option that best fits your needs. There are many factors that go into deciding which plan is right for you, so it’s important to look at your personal situation and what kind of coverage will serve you best.
Answer: Hello, if you have a Medigap Plan F, also known as a Supplement, you would not have a co-pay. Please feel free to reach out if there is anything else I can help with!
Answer: You should be contacted from your Agent or Broker in September each year to get ready for AEP. If you haven't heard from your agent or broker you might want to reach out to them.
Answer: I am not sure what kind of plan you are in to see what coverages you do have and how you would navigate that. More than likely you do have coverage in your current plan.
Answer: All preventative screenings are covered by Medicare as long and are $0 cost share to you as long as they are billed as Preventative and not Diagnostic.
Answer: There are several different types that people enroll in based on their needs. HMO and PPO MAPD plans are the most common.
Answer: Usually you do have your Medicare Part B premium automatically taken out of your SS check before you receive it. Are you sure you requested to start your SS and Your Medicare A & B?
Answer: There is no right answer to that. That is totally dependent on your individual needs. What fits ones medical and drug needs verses another is completely different.
Answer: At Abundant Medicare Health & Life Solutions, LLC, what we enjoy most about working with Medicare Clients is being able to provide them with knowledge, support, and service all the time. We love that our work allows us to be a part of so many people's lives. We make sure clients are in the best plan possible for their medical, personal, financial, etc. needs. I think it is important all Medicare individuals have an independent broker so that they always have someone in their corner.
Answer:
Hello!
Your plan should be reviewed by your agent/broker every year during Open Enrollment period. Which is October 15th-December 8th.
Answer: Not generally, but it is important to provide an agent with this information, so they can look at what is covered by plans in your area.
Answer:
Good morning!
The best way to save money would first be to find an agent and receive a yearly review. This is a good example as to why having an agent in your corner, a local one is best, is beneficial!
If you would like a review, please reach out.
Thank you!
Answer: Many do not realize that they will be penalized if they do not take Medicare Part B and D when having no other creditable coverage after age 65.
Answer: You can always appeal the IRMMA. You can have it reduced or eliminated if your income from taxes 2 years ago or your situation has changed.
Answer: There are several things to consider and its an Individual decision. It depends on things like what you are currently paying monthly, deductible, and Max out of pocket. Whether you are covering an under Medicare age spouse, and how far into your medical deductible you are when your Medicare would start.
Answer: That will depend on the employer group however, in most situations you would need to start using your Medicare options as the group benefits would no longer be available to you.
Answer: That depends on many individual circumstances. Medicare is far from one size fits all! Not even a wife and husband have the same health needs so asking someone who is not an insurance professional will only confuse you more.
Answer: My best advice would be to reach out to a broker and set an appointment. Their options would be based on more than just their medications so it is hard to say for sure. If you have any questions, feel free to call the office!
Answer: That is going to depend on your individualized situation. Feel free to call our office so we can get more information and be able to answer your question correctly.
Answer: When you talk to them, you can ask for their license number. A licensed agent will have a license number.
Answer: There may be other factors involved. Without knowing all the details it can be difficult to form an answer. Please feel free to call our office and we can do our best to give you an answer with a little more information!
