I cannot say enough good things about Michelle. She explained much of the terminology associated with the healthcare industry and what she did not know, she was honest with telling me and then would find out the answer. I am one of those who falls through the healthcare cracks. My finances are too much for the help I need, and not enough with out riding that line of being healthcare poor. Michelle shared with me there are many that are in my situation and was confident she could help. Thank you Michelle for spending a great amount time with me, helping to find the best plan that works for me and y budget.

I am about to turn 65 and was totally lost and uninformed about Medicare. I was so glad I found Michelle, when searching for a local broker, and she was able to come to me so I didn’t have to travel an hour away. She was extremely helpful, professional and pleasant and explained everything about Medicare, in detail! She answered every question and didn’t rush me through the process. I felt very comfortable with my choices, after she went over all my options. I highly recommend Michelle, you won’t be disappointed!

Q&A with Michelle Mcghee
Do you automatically get Medicare if you're on Social Security Disability?
Answer: Great question! If you are receiving social security benefits at least 4 months prior to 65 or receiving SSDI (Disability) and have received benefits for at least 24 months, you will receive your Medicare card (red, white, and blue card) for Part A and Part B.
I want to switch to Medicare Advantage this year. How do I do this?
Answer: The first step is to see what enrollment period you qualify for, and then check your doctors, medications, networks that are important to you, and what you want your coverage to do for you this year.
What are the reasons why I should work with a Medicare agent?
Answer: working with a Medicare agent gives you a personal 1 on 1 concierge service, we become your person when you have questions or problems. We help you find what works best for your health needs and wallet, we look up your meds and doctors to ensure they are all in the networks that are important to you-I am a tool in your toolbox and I educate first to help that decision easier for you.
What's the key difference in how Medicare Advantage and Medigap handle out-of-network providers?
Answer: The difference is the Medicare Advantage plans are either an HMO or PPO, and it is very important to check to ensure all your doctors are in the Network.
The Medigap is a supplemental plan that fills in the gaps of Original Medicare and it pairs with your primary Original Medicare insurance, so there are no networks, or cap for original medicare.
