How can insurance companies afford to offer Advantage plans with $0 monthly premiums?
Answer: Insurance companies are paid for Medicare Advantage plans by the Center for Medicare and Medicaid to keep you healthy. They are paid monthly based upon the plans star ratings. The higher the start rating, 5 star is the nest, the more CMS pays the insurance carrier. The good news is that the carrier must plow back 80% of what they paid into benefits within the plan.
What do you like most about being a Medicare agent?
Answer: Helping people understand their Medicare choices in simple terms they can understand.
Explaining how they can reduce their out-of-pocket co-pays and get the most benefit from the plan they choose.
When will my provider send my Annual Notice of Change?
Answer: Medicare providers will mail the Annual Notice of Change (ANOC Letter) in September every year to current beneficiaries. This is for part D and Medicare Advantage clients.
What are the reasons why I should work with a Medicare agent?
Answer: Experience, work with a local independent agent that offers multiple carriers.
Not beholden to any one company. More options to tailor coverage to each individual.
Is telehealth still covered under Medicare in 2026?
Answer: Yes, telehealth is still covered by Medicare.
I personally have used it twice this year for sinus infections.
It's a nice option to see the doctor from your kitchen table.
