Fortunately, we have not had to use any home health services recently. We have used the medication reimbursement feature and were quite happy with this service. We initially thought it was too good to be true, but it’s legit! Thankful that Matthew Garza introduced us to this company!

Matt has helped me so much, every time that i have questions he answers them in a very professional way. I am 83 years old and do not have much knowledge of the new product they have, but Matt immediately calls me to advise me what is new and beneficial to me; he is the best.

Q&A with Matthew Garza
What date should my employer put on the CMS-L564 form if my coverage hasn’t ended yet?
Answer: You should leave that part of the application blank if you still have employer coverage. The employer will need to list when you started your employer coverage with the company on the application. Also, if you have had multiple jobs after turning 65, you will need to fill out an L564 form for every employer you've had since turning 65.
After a surgery, should I expect out-of-pocket costs?
Answer: Yes, you should expect out-of-pocket costs after a surgery, but the costs can vary depending on what type of health insurance you selected such as Original Medicare, Medicare Advantage, or Medicare Supplement. It also depends on if you've had any other medical events prior to this event to be able to tell what the costs should be. With so many different scenarios from this question, I would highly advise speaking with a Medicare advisor, who could give you the correct information after asking a few more detailed questions that are specific to your situation.
My prescriptions got more expensive this year. Can I switch to an Illinois Medicare Advantage plan that covers them better?
Answer: You can switch Medicare Advantage plans that can help cover your prescriptions better, but you need to also make sure that your doctors are in network with that particular plan as well before enrolling. Annual Enrollment Period starts October 15, and that will allow you to make a change with your health insurance until December 7. So, take your time and do a little research before just enrolling into a plan.
What are the reasons why I should work with a Medicare agent?
Answer: You should use a Medicare agent because Medicare agents are more up to date with the current health insurance markets then the vast population. Plus, a Medicare agent may understand a nuance that the common person may miss on a particular plan, which could potentially cost them dearly without doing their due diligence.
